Dr. Kellie has been helping the Des Moines area at Iowa Family Chiropractic since 2008, caring for all types of people and conditions. She has a passion for children and families. “Kids are very special to us,” she says. “The road to true health and a long life begins in childhood.”
Dr. Hoover grew up in the Des Moines area and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa, where she met her husband of four years. She went on to attend graduate school in Davenport at Palmer College of Chiropractic, the world leader in chiropractic education. She then graduated magna cum laude with honors as a presidential scholar and a member of Pi Tau Delta.
Dr. Kellie is currently pursuing a Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics in order to better serve the children she treats. She is certified by the Academy Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP), an honor of which few doctors in the area have obtained. Dr. Kellie also enjoys caring for pregnant women, and is certified in the Webster technique, which is a method of relieving intrauterine constraint, allowing for the baby to be in the best possible position for birth. She is also a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP) and takes care of many Des Moines area athletes young and old. A CCEP has the ability to help with joint pain and problems such as jaw, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knees, ankle, and feet.

Angie recently joined the IFC team as a Chiropractic Assistant. She learned the advantages of chiropractic care during high school and continued through her college years. Angie attended Central College in Pella, IA and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Promotion. Right out of school, she started her career in the fitness industry as a personal trainer. After a short break, Angie is excited to be back in the wellness field.
During her downtime, you can find Angie and her husband, James, biking and renovating their house. She has recently developed a love for baking and crafting. They are currently spending most of their free time trying to train their two very mischievous pups, Trae and Ollie.
Cherie DeTolve Dale has been a therapist since 2006, after receiving her massage therapy certification from Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove Illinois. She is an Iowa licensed massage therapist, a member of the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage (NCBTM), Certified Infant Massage Teacher, and a credentialed pregnancy massage therapist. Cherie has had a broad experience working in health club environments, spa settings and chiropractor offices.
Pregnancy massage was actually one of the main reasons Cherie became a massage therapist. She received in depth training at Waubonsee Community College (Sugar Grove, IL) soon after her certification for massage in 2006. She loves working with moms-to-be and is an asset to Iowa Family Chiropractic with these credentials. With her love of children and babies, Cherie has just recently become a Certified Infant Massage Teacher for families and caretakers with babies 3 weeks to 4 years of age. Along with teaching, Cherie will be receiving her Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist certification allowing her to massage children age 5 – 18 years.
Being a service-orientated therapist Cherie will listen, observe, be compassionate, and provide massage that is dictated by the client's physical and emotional needs. Cherie shares in the philosophy Iowa Family Chiropractic reflects — she is dedicated to putting family first in health, mind and spirit. Cherie enjoys her three daughters and their families, which include 5 wonderful grandchildren. Cherie lives in Des Moines with her wonderful husband, John.
An Iowa Native, Amanda Lundstedt holds a BSBA from Drake University. After graduating from Drake, Amanda moved to Colorado and worked for a non-profit organization. While always interested in healthy living and CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine), living in Colorado honed these interests.
After returning to Iowa permanently, Amanda enrolled in Orthopedic, Sports, and Medical Massage Therapy at Body Wisdom Massage Therapy School in Urbandale, Iowa. While at Body Wisdom, Amanda studied under one of the premier sports massage therapists in the world, Mr. Brian Glotzbach. Amanda is educated in advanced and established sports massage techniques. A life-long learner, she continues her massage education to include the most innovative techniques.
An avid athlete herself, Amanda brings to Iowa Family Chiropractic a love of sport and movement of the human body. Her personal experience with distance running, biking, triathlons, Crossfit, and more all contribute to her practice and sucess as a massage therapist.
Amanda is passionate about helping others and living life to the fullest. She and her husband are active in a variety of arenas in the Greater Des Moines area.
